Amanda is an attorney, licensed to practice law in Florida and Kentucky. Having served in an in-house capacity since 2017 for two, national captive management companies, she continues to serve in an advisory capacity to select corporate and family office matters. Amanda is well-experienced and knowledgeable in the areas of: agricultural laws, environmental regulations, equine and gaming laws, insurance laws, corporate governance and operations, construction laws, transactional matters (including fine art), and commercial dispute resolution. BIOGRAPHY
Amanda’s diverse, professional background affords her a unique perspective that creates a real value-add for businesses that use her services. Since 2023, Amanda has served as outside General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer to Alliance Captive Management, LLC, a national captive management company and captive owner that has clients engaged in all areas of commerce. Prior to that, she served as General Counsel to another captive management company for over six years.
As General Counsel, Amanda guides companies on various aspects of operations, including regulatory compliance, new product development, lobbying, international expansion, corporate structuring, internal investigations and reporting, claims and risk management, intellectual property preservation, and licensing, event sponsorships, mergers & acquisitions, labor & employment matters, marketing, and litigation oversight.

Prior to going in-house, Amanda founded and chaired for nine years the largest equine law practice group in the state of Florida while a partner at one of Florida’s largest and oldest firms. In that capacity, she represented Eclipse Award-winning connections and Olympic competitors in a spectrum of transactional, commercial and litigation matters, as well as legislative matters. As a private practice attorney, she also successfully helped clients navigate matters involving the UCC & creditors’ rights issues, products liability, the Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act, lien laws, the Miller Act, Florida's Condominium Act, the Pollutant Discharge Prevention & Control Act, Clean Water Act, the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, & Liability Act, construction & design defects, & consumer protection statutes.

In her free time, Amanda breeds and races Thoroughbred racehorses, and enjoys traveling and hiking with her husband and dogs.
